This is probably more of a review of the Yas Viceroy than the bar but had to include a place where you can purchase beer since this is a beer blog. The Yas Viceroy is on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, UAE and has a Formula 1 Grand Prix track that goes right thru the hotel. This is a category 5 hotel and the rooms are large and very nice. One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at in my travels. I had a room on the 3rd floor and had a balcony that overlooked the marina and track. I arrived on a SUN and at about 10:30pm I heard some cars racing on the track. Appeared to be a racing club of high dollar race cars but not really sure. They had the track until close to midnight. I have noted the Latitude Pool Bar which is located on the 9th floor in the main building. They have 50% off happy hour on select items from 4-6pm. I went there during happy hour and had a few Peroni’s. Peroni and Corona were the only beers on the happy hour list. They also have Stella on draft. Not a place with a large beer selection but the architecture and view from the top is great. The pool, fitness room, spa and the Skylite rooftop lounge are also located on the 9th floor.
