Stars ‘N’ Bars is located on Yas Island not far from the Yas Viceroy where I was staying. It was night time so I had to go to the web to get some better photos. On the Stars ‘N’ Bars Facebook page they had a great picture of the IDEX 2017 international defense expo which is the reason I was in Abu Dhabi. I attended the conference a couple of days and when you are flying from the UAE to the west, all flights depart very late. My return flight thru Europe was departing at 2:10am so I went to this great sports bar to have a few beers and get something to eat. I had some of the best calamari I have ever had. Nice and tender. I had the Stars ‘N’ Bars lager which I couldn’t find on Untapp’d. Pretty good though and was only 15 Emirati Dirham’s which is about US$4. I was there on a TUE evening and they also had live team trivia. Lots of TV’s with sports and they also had a stage for bands. It was kind of cool when I was there but the outside space looked perfect for a nice sunny day because it overlooks the marina.
