This pub claims to be the oldest in England, established 1189AD. It also has cellar’s like the other “oldest pub” we stopped at earlier called “The Bell Inn” in Nottingham. We didn’t make it to the cellar but I did find some pictures of the cellar on their website that I have shown above. The location is built into rocks that Nottingham Castle is built on. The inside is great and makes you feel like you are in a cave. We drank several pints and I noticed they also had food but we didn’t eat this visit. We spent the night watching the amazing “David” the ring toss master. I have added a video below so you can see how awesome this guy is at the ring toss game.
