The Eagle – Cambridge, England

The Eagle is a very popular pub in Cambridge.  It is famous because the discovery of DNA was announced in this bar in 1953.  WWII airmen would brand their call signs and graffiti into the ceiling.  I didn’t take a picture of this but did find one on the internet that I have noted.  They also have an outside area which is pretty large and would probably be great during warm weather.  I had a pint of the Eagle DNA which was a proper English Ale.  Check this out the next time you are in Cambridge.  http://www.eagle-cambridge.co.uk/
