Our first stop on our “beercation”. We stayed at the Amway Grand Plaza for a weekend of craft beer. We have been to Grand Rapids in the past but this trip we tried to focus on some of the breweries we haven’t visited. Atwater Brewery started in Detroit and they now have a location in Grand Rapids. I had a paddle of their IPA’s and we sat outside and enjoyed the great July weather. They also have food at this location but we just had beer. This spot is just north of DeVos Place on MI (a couple blocks from the Amway Grand Plaza). It was our first stop before heading across the river to 3 more stops for our FRI night.
