We stumbled upon this fantastic bar when we had ordered a pizza at the kebab restaurant nearby. We said we were going to grab a beer while we waited for our pizza and he pointed us in the direction of the Frankenstein and Bier Keller. This theme bar is located in an old Church and had Frankenstein playing on the big screen and lots of Frankenstein themed decorations. Would be a great spot for a bachelor or bachelorette party (stag or hen party as they are called in the UK). Or even a birthday or retirement party (pretty much any kind of celebration). They also have a Bier Keller bar in the basement which we checked out (photos above) but it wasn’t open. You definitely have to stop at this great bar the next time you are in Edinburgh, Scotland.
