Crooked Letter Brewing Co. in Ocean Springs, MS is back in business again. They originally had a brewery near Broome’s closer to downtown OC off Government St. but due to some family issues, they had to liquidate. They are now sharing an event space and are just starting to set up their brewery. We were there over the weekend visiting my mother in-law who lives in Ocean Springs. I hadn’t been to the first Crooked Letter location but my wife and son had, and they spoke highly of the beers. When my mother in-law said the new location was open, we had to check it out. The tasting room is at the front of the banquet facility and they were just getting in their brewing tanks that were still in the parking lot. I assume they are brewing on a smaller system to keep the beer flowing. They also have a very nice outside bar area that can be utilized when there aren’t any events in progress. Another thing that you rarely see in a tasting room is they have a full liquor license and even offer bottled beer (like Miller Lite and Bud Light) for the non-craft drinkers that may be in your group.
