My wife has been doing some consulting in the Boca Raton, FL area and we usually stay in Delray Beach (love all the restaurants/bars on Atlantic Ave). I usually work from the hotel and this trip I decided to drive to Oakland Park (about 30 minutes away) to visit Funky Buddha for lunch. I also wanted to pick up some of their special release “Morning Wood” which is an imperial maple bacon coffee porter aged in bourbon barrels. I got a 5 beer sampler and ordered their “Funky Wings” which are grilled and tossed in raspberry-habanero sauce. The beers and the wings were great and the space is nice. They have a large tasting room, a store, outside area, and an event space. I had not had 3 of the 5 tasters I ordered. Check out the Untapp’d checkins’ below of the 3 new beers. All beers were pretty good. I really like the Crusher Session IPA.
