For out 30th anniversary we went on a 7 day Greek Island cruise. Depart and return from Athens and visited 6 ports including Santorini. I was excited to learn this Greek island actually had a craft beer brewery. We stopped for a short time during our island tour and tasted some of their beers. I have noted my Untapp’d checkins’ below. The Crazy Donkey IPA was my favorite.
The brewery says they make “lagered ales” which is a new one to me. They don’t pasteurize or add preservatives so even the bottled beers need to be kept cold. Surprising they would do this because I would think it would limit distribution options. The beer was very good though and was a nice improvement the over Mythos or Alpha Greek pilsnershat are available all over Greece.
