We visited Half Shells in Biloxi, MS this past weekend as our first stop for a small pubcrawl. I like how Biloxi is slowly recovering from Katrina and starting to have a “downtown” entertainment area where people have food/drink options outside of the casinos. We sat at the bar and it was happy hour (even on a SAT). I had the local Biloxi Brewing Beach Blonde which was a light and refreshing beer. We didn’t eat but the guy next to me at the bar let me try his marinated crab claws which were very good. They were also grilling lots of oysters when we were there. We will definitely make it back to have dinner in the future. Half Shells is a chain and there are other Half Shells on the gulf coast.
