The City Tavern has a pretty decent draft beer list and is located on Main Street downtown Dallas. They do have food but we just got some chips and salsa and had a couple beers. You can smoke and drink outside. It is located next to “The Mitchell” and is also very close to the “One Eyed Penguin”. We were there on a SAT night and they were pretty busy because there was a band upstairs. I went back on a MON afternoon for a business meeting and it was quiet enough inside late afternoon to do this. If you are looking for good craft draft beer on Main St. downtown, I would recommend the City Tavern as well as Frankie’s which is across the street.
