I visited Linköping, Sweden in March 2016 to visit a new company I am now representing in the US. I was in Stuttgart so took a flight into Amsterdam and then on to Linköping. It is a small town but home to Saab Aerospace (where they make the Gripen Fighter) and there are also some UAV companies (as well as a university) in town. I spent the night because flights in/out at limited so had the opportunity to visit De Klomp which was a very impressive craft beer bar/restaurant. I had several beers (as shown below from my Untapp’d check’ins).
I ordered a meet/cheese try for dinner and it was spectacular. Great beer selection including several from the US and around the world (also some Swedish favorites). I tried to stick to the Swedish beers. It is nice to be able to sit up at a bar when you are traveling by yourself and talk to the locals to find out what is good.
