McGettigan’s Irish Pub is located at the Dubai Airport (DXB) not far from the Delta departure gate I was flying out of that night. I had the coldest Carlsberg I think I have ever had in my life. If you look at the picture of the Foster’s tap you will see it has a 1″ thick ice build-up. My colleague from Germany was flying back to Frankfurt thru Bahrain and his gate was also very close and his departure was exactly the same time as mine (and we didn’t even plan it that way). It was great to have a few beers with my friend before getting on a 17hr flight back to the US. I think there was a McGettingan’s at the Dubai Airshow at Al Maktoum airport.
