Ferg’s Live opened in 2015 and is a great spot near Amalie Arena (Tampa Lightning) to watch sports and live events. There is also a Ferg’s in St. Petersburg near Tropicana field (Tampa Bay Rays). I have only been to the Tampa location on Saturday’s watching college football outside. They do have a DJ playing music while the games are on so it is a little loud but you can also go inside for air-conditioned space with lots of TV’s and no DJ. I haven’t eaten there but assume their pub food is OK. We were there recently on a Lightning Hockey day so even though we were there a few hours before the game, they were stocking the bar and setting up extra bars to support the crowd. I assume it gets pretty crowded on game days but we left before this happened. They do have some craft beer on draft like Lagunitas IPA, Cigar City Jai Alai, Guinness, Abita Andy Gator, and a few others. They also have a full bar and a selection of bottle beers. Great spot if to have a drink before an event at Amalie Arena. Also a good spot to watch sports and they also host their own live events.
