This was our first trip to Vienna and I fell in love with the city.  Very beautiful, clean with great food and people.  We were only there for one night so we had a traditional Vienna dinner at the Leupold restaurant which was close to our hotel.  We then walked to check out the St. Stephens church (picture above) and then on to the Bermuda Brau.  This is a great drinking spot in the “Bermuda Triangle” area of Vienna.  Lots of pubs (including a Hard Rock nearby).  We sat at the bar and even met a new friend from Australia who was skateboarding his way thru Europe (and yes he was 35).  There were a couple things I didn’t like about the bar though.   Their beer was kind of foamy so they would have extra “foam” glasses that they would let settle and poor into new beers.  I hate it when bars do this.  The other thing is there was a bread basket in the bar area that the bartender would touch every so often to check if it was still warm.  We didn’t eat here but the spot is great for people watching and appears to be a popular spot for locals.  I would recommend stopping in for a beer the next time you are in Vienna.  http://www.bermuda-braeu.at/
