The Sail Pavilion is located downtown Tampa on the water in between the Marriott and the Convention Center. It is on the Tampa River Walk and is a great spot to get a “roady” in a special River Walk cup so you can enjoy a beverage while walking on the River Walk. The RiverWalk which spans from the Tampa History Museum/Columbia Cafe to Ulele is now a wet zone so you can drink alcohol as long as it was purchased from a River Walk establishment and it is in a special River Walk cup. The Sail is pet friendly (they have water bowls and biscuits) and they do have a small outside bar with several craft beer handles. The main bar has standard taps but does have Goose Island IPA and they have a happy hour special from 5:00-7:00pm on Yuengling ($3.50). They also have several craft beers in bottles/cans but their standard prices are a little high. A Coppertail Free Dive is $7 for a bottle. They do have food which comes from the Convention Center so it isn’t anything special. Mainly a place to be on the water and people watch. This is also the “boat activity” dock so you can rent water bikes, electric boats, and there is even a dolphin tour boat. We can walk here from our place downtown so it is a great spot for a cold drink and to enjoy the water. Check out their Facebook page for more info: https://www.facebook.com/SailPavilion?fref=ts
