Just got back into the USA from Winnipeg, Canada and was happy to belly up to a bar with 48 “real” craft beer taps.  I used to travel to Grand Forks, ND to visit Polaris and Arctic Cat but it has been probably 8 years or more since I have been here.  First time “downtown” Grand Forks and was surprised to find this nice craft beer spot.  I had the Rogue MoM Hefeweizen and the Summitt Saga IPA.  I have had the Rogue MoM before so I thought it would be a good start because it is relatively light and flavorful.  I liked the Summitt Saga and rated it 3.25 on Untapp’d.  Nice balance of malt and hops.  I also ordered the walleye fish tacos and they were great.  I really miss walleye living in Florida.  Living in MI it was easier to find and I really love the taste of this fish.  Grand Forks is the home of the University of North Dakota.  It is also a US unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) test site.  They have a UAV industrial park called Grand Sky that is located adjacent to the US Air Force base just west of Grand Forks and both defense and commercial UAV businesses have a presence in the area.  If you are in Grand Forks and love craft beer, this may be your only spot for a great food and beer combination.  For more info, check out: http://brickandbarleygf.com/
