We have a vacation place in Port Austin, MI and have been coming here for about 15 years. It is a great area small port city located on Lake Huron with a great breakwall where you can watch the sun rise and set (since you are at the “tip of the thumb”. The Landing Tavern is a great dive bar located downtown. They have the best burgers in town and even offer fried chicken gizzards, pickled bologna and now offer pizza’s.
