Pfreim is one of my favorite breweries in Hood River. It is relatively new (started in 2012) and is located between the freeway and the Columbia River. It is close to the marina and within walking distance from downtown Hood River. They have excellent food and great beers. I have been here before and have tasted all their flagship beers. The last time I was here I had one of the best hoppy wheat beers I have ever had. This trip I tried the Down Under IPA which I rated a 3.75 on Untapp’d. I ordered the Mac & Cheese which was very good also. I love Hood River because you can walk through town and smell beer cooking. I think there are 5 breweries and it is a relatively small town.
