Der Biergarten is close to the convention center in Atlanta and is also very close to the aquarium and Coke museum. We stopped in for a beer and an appetizer before an event at the aquarium. I ordered a Konig Ludwig Weissbier Hell. They have a number of German beers on draft. I chose this one because it was the only German beer on the list I haven’t tried before. We ordered a gemischte wurst und kaseplatte which is a meat and cheese plate. The owner is German so the food is authentic. I had some German colleagues I was traveling with for the week and they had dinner at Der Biergarten the night before and they had no complaints. They said it was very authentic.
