OK so it is not a beer place but definitely a great vodka tasting room locating in Dripping Springs, TX which is about a 30 minute Uber ride from Austin. You should check it out. They had a craft fair going on in the tasting room when we were there DEC 2021 and apparently this will continue in 2022 once a month. Unfortunately I only took a couple photos but this is a great brewing on 6th street in Austin, TX. Great IPA and also good coffee. Had an espresso and even bought some beans to take home. Great indoor/outdoor spaces to enjoy your beer. Check out their website for more info: https://www.lazarusbrewing.com/
If you are into Belgian beers, Austin has a place for you. Great beer selection and even has a nice spot in the front and back if you want to drink outside. We just popped in for a pint on the way to check out the state capital building. Check out their website for more info: https://www.belgianbaraustin.com/
Banger’s Sausage House and Beer Garden is a great spot for craft beer on Rainey street. Our first time to Austin (DEC 2021) and we loved all the bars/restaurants on Rainey street. Being a beer guy of course we had to have a couple pints at Banger’s. Nice outside beer garden. Check out their website if you would like more info on this great craft beer location in Austin: https://www.bangersaustin.com/pages/menus
This was a real surprise when we visited Austin. A Yeti store with an outside bar. Great spot to purchase anything Yeti and have a cold beer outside. Your beer even comes in a nice Yeti Colster which is nice. You have to return of course but how many bars give you a beer in a fancy Colster? Put it on your list of places you have to visit when in Austin. We were in Austin, TX in DEC 2021 for a family Christmas and Pour Choices was our first stop on 6th street. A short walk from our hotel (Residence Inn on 4th) and they have live music in the afternoon. Staff was very friendly and they have a nice craft beer selection. Very cool space. We ended up making a few stops back at this bar during our visit. Check out their website for more info: https://www.pourchoicesaustin.com/
Oliver Twist is a great pub for a pint in Zurich’s old town. It is a nice British pub and according to their website it is the oldest pub in Zurich. We just had a pint before going to the Raclette Factory which was around the corner from the pub. Check out their website for more info and stop in for a pint if you are in the area: https://www.pickwick.ch/en/our-pub/zuerich/home/index.php
