Brauhaus 1516 is in the Hauptbahnhof Augsburg (main train station). I visited this brewery for the first time in March 2019. I have been to the Riegele Brauhaus before which is a short walk away and has a nice biergarten (search for Riegele on my BobsBeerBlog for more info). This brewery was really nice. Apparently they also have entertainment on FRI’s (we were there on a WED). Food also looked good but we were just drinking. Definitely should stop in for a pint if you are waiting for a train in Augsburg or if you are in the area. Augsburg actually is a good spot to stay during Oktoberfest because the train goes directly into Munich and hotels area a little cheaper than in Munich.
