7venth Sun Brewery has been brewing beer since JAN 2012 in Dunedin, FL and now has a new brewery/tasting room in Seminole Heights, FL (just north of downtown Tampa). I have never been to the Dunedin brewery but have had their beers before at the Pour House in Tampa. They are really good at making great IPA’s. This new brewery has only been open about a month and is located right next to the Mermaid on Nebraska (Nebraska/Sligh area). We got a chance to Uber from downtown to check this great new tasting room out on FRI. The space is large and they had lots of great beer on tap. I did three 4oz tasters of Time Bomb Session IPA, Headbanger IPA and Mangrove DIPA. All really good. I have had the Headbanger IPA before. My wife had “Nobody Likes You, IRMA!” which is a collaboration with Escape brewing and was renamed for all those in Tampa impacted by hurricane Irma. Flavorful berliner with dragonfruit, passionfruit, orange and lemon zest. They have a nice spot outside which was cool in the evening but assume they will need to get an awning in the future to provide some shade to the “outside” beer drinkers. I will try to add some new pictures the next time I go there during the day. This area is getting some great places to drink beer. New World Brewery will be moving to Nebraska/Busch area when they leave Ybor. Not sure of the timing for the move. There are lots of great craft beer locations on Nebraska and Florida Ave. For more info on 7venth Sun Tampa, check out their Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/7venthSunTampa/
