We visited the relatively new Hofbräuhaus in St. Petersburg, FL on AUG 5, 2016 for lunch. I have been wanting to check it out since I have visited the original Hofbräuhaus in Munich. Of course it can’t be identical but it does give you the feel of the same iconic beer hall. I love German beer, food and music so it is great to be able to escape to Germany for a short time while in St. Petersburg, FL. I had wurstsalat, my wife had the sausage sampler, my son had the jaegerschnitzel and my mother in-law had the chicken over German potato salad w/spinach. I ordered a Hofbräu Hefeweizen which went perfect with the wurstsalat. We were there just after 1pm on a FRI and we had no issue getting a spot. I had booked a space on OpenTable but this wasn’t really required for this time of day. We went to the Salvador Dali museum after which made for a great FRI afternoon in St. Petersburg. If you are in St. Petersburg, FL and love German beer, food, and music, you should definitely check it out. Check out their website for more info. http://www.hofbrauhausstpetersburg.com/.
I took a short video showing the inside of the beer hall. We didn’t have live music at this time but they do have live music throughout the day.
