Half Pints is one of two breweries I could find find in Winnipeg. There is Fort Garry which is kind of like the Sam Adams of Winnipeg. I did try a Fort Garry Pale Ale at dinner but didn’t make it to their brewery. When I was at Barley Brothers, they highly recommended Half Pints beer. They have a brewery and store so no food and not even at tasting room at the moment. Manitoba’s liquor rules are kind of strict but I did heart they are trying to open a tasting room that can operate during the SAT tours. When I checked into my Sheraton hotel they asked if I wanted a free drink or points as part of my gold SPG membership. I said the drink of course but they said that you couldn’t use it on an alcoholic drink. WTF… I chose the points instead. Anyway, I made a quick stop to the brewery and picked up some of their Little Scrapper IPA for my hotel room for the night. My Untapp’d rating is shown below.
