We traveled to MI over Memorial Weekend to spend the weekend at our place in Port Austin, MI. We flew home on TUE so decided to spend some time downtown to check out the new Red Wings arena, a little gambling at Greektown Casino and lunch at Pizza Papalis. It has been awhile since we have been to Pizza Papalis and they have by far the best pizza in Detroit. Great spot to go before hockey, baseball or football games. We got the medium Papalis gourmet for 3 people and actually had 1 slice left. I took a picture of their beer options. They have some good deals on Stroh’s, Pabst and Badass ($2.75). They also have some draft beer and several bottles. It was a very beautiful day in Detroit and glad to see Detroit’s renaissance is definitely happening.
