We visited Founders Brewing Co. Detroit on Memorial Day 2018 for lunch and I fell in love with this place. Detroit is definitely in a renaissance and every time we go downtown, we find a new gem. Founders is a short walk to Little Caesars Arena. I have added a walking map above from Google. We were lucky and there wasn’t anything going on at the arena so Founders was busy but not too crazy. They have a great indoor and outdoor space as shown in the photos above. Food was very good and the beer as always was very good. I got a sampler and noted my Untapp’d checkins’ below:
I have been to Founders in Grand Rapids, and their spot in Detroit is definitely comparable. Brewing on a smaller scale of course but definitely has some similarities.
